Each piece in the Joe Spoon Metalsmith Collection is individually hand-wrought
using time-honored techniques handed down by master craftsmen.  American
artisan Joe Spoon uses an extremely durable lead-free brass alloy, sometimes
copper and/or solid sterling to form each one at a time while paying particular
attention to fine detail, functional integrity and aesthetic design.
He then uses silver solder to join pieces as well as to increase their quality.
Every item is made for those among us who truly appreciate practical beauty.
The complete satisfaction of his patrons is of utmost importance while he works.
Because each one is truly hand-crafted, no two will ever be exactly alike.
Joe signs and dates his work only after making sure it meets rigorous,
self-imposed high standards.   He also personally guarantees and stands behind
every piece he makes.  Some might call that "old fashioned" but Joe believes
honesty and integrity are timeless.  Hopefully the same timeless qualities of both
are an obvious and integral part of each and every piece Joe Spoon creates.
His wish is that his work will be used, appreciated, shared, enjoyed, given as
gifts, collected and eventually handed down as heirlooms for future generations.

Joe's unique "Nouveau Nouveau" style fits in beautifully
with a wide variety of both antique and contemporary settings.

As with almost every metal, a little bit of care will maintain the brilliance of a
freshly-crafted piece.  Click here to learn
